Make a recommended on maintaining AWS, migrating to GCP, or migrating to on premise data centre.

Methodology

• Discovery: Fully understand the current environment and the Customer’s long term requirements.

• Target Architecture: Develop a high-level target architecture based on the requirements.

• Migration Strategy: Propose a migration strategy for each option that minimised platform risk.

• Create Model: Create a financial model and risk model based on the Target Architecture and Migration Strategy.

• Recommendation: Compare the models to make a final recommendation to the Customer.  

Outcome

The Customer used the engagement to set their five-year infrastructure strategy by maintaining expanding their AWS environment but renegotiating costs.
